As a successful entrepreneur for over 30 years in the quilting industry and in Direct Sales, Karen knows the challenges of balancing a career with family, friends and still find time for personal and professional growth. Married to the "boy next door" for over 38 years, mother of 3 grown sons, and the ultimate volunteer, she consistently challenges herself to step out of her comfort zone. For 47 years, Karen was terrified of public speaking; that fear controlled her life. She chose to face it by joining Toastmasters in 1995 and in the process found her passion - empowering others to LIVE THE LIFE YOU CHOOSE.
For over 12 years she has shared her journey with audiences and challenged them to "BE" more of who they were meant to be. In overcoming her own obstacles and fears, she communicates compassion and empathy. She is Vision and Purpose driven and works with groups and companies that believe in educating and empowering their individuals.
